oh my god, this is beautiful

I just gasped and showed this to my whole family, then I had to email the picture to my aunt— ‘the Black Lion’ is a sort of magical creature in our family that acts as a Santa Claus figure, something my aunt created when she was young, to surprise her parents and siblings with, and ‘he’ has sort of appeared to leave secret presents ever since.

So seeing a picture of a melanistic lion for me is kind of like magic being real, you guys.
